Used for cleaning, peening, deburring, descaling, finishing, and removing light rust, chipped paint, scale, oxidation and calcium deposits. Ideal for preparing metal surfaces for painting and powder coating. Works well on pistons, engine blocks, cast iron, aluminum, steel, tools, machinery, automotive and airline parts, pipes, dies, castings, cutting tools, etc.

This is our most popular size glass for bead blasting projects and can tackle many different jobs. The glass media should be used according to manufacturer instructions with a sandblaster gun or sandblasting cabinet. The glass bead abrasive is versatile in wet sandblasting, dry blasting and bead blasting cabinets. It is effective on metals, wood and many plastics. The sandblasting grit efficiently removes oxidation layers and residues without damaging surfaces. Be sure to clean metal surfaces before applying paint or coatings to ensure best performance. APPLICATION: Suggested at low pressure 20-60 PSI. You can peen to higher intensities with a 90 degree nozzle angle. SAFETY: Always wear appropriate NIOSH-approved respiratory protection & personal safety equipment while using glass beads for blasting applications.
