Designed for electric dryers that are unable to vent to the outside, BetterVent captures everything from pet hair to fine lint particles. As all indoor dryer vents allow heat and humidity into the room, we recommend allowing for air circulation and ventilation when using a BetterVent in confined spaces. Replacement filters are available in packages of 6, lasting most users up to a year under normal conditions. All installation hardware is included. All you need to supply is the hose and clamps. With a quick and easy installation and 30-day defect warranty, BetterVent is the cost-effective and long-lasting solution to maintaining a dryer system.
Dryer lines that exceed the dryer manufacturer’s recommendations can result in inefficient operation and lint accumulation. As you use your BetterVent, you will learn how often your filters need to be cleaned and replaced. If the calibrated Safety Exhaust Flap opens, it’s time to clean! To extend the life of your filter, simply vacuum the blue side of the filter multiple times before replacing it with a new one. If you have a lint roller handy, lightly roll it over the polyester filter to remove the lint. Clean filters make for an energy efficient dryer.
