Description
MediaGear USB Type C Docking Station extends a single USB-C port to DisplayPort + HDMI (*REQUIRING DISPLAYLINK DRIVER) and plug & play features: USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, and headphone/microphone connectivity seamlessly. Its compact size is convenient to take wherever you go - perfect for home or office use and even when traveling to add more ports and functionality to your laptop and other devices.
Our Dock provides you with true HD display and supports 6 external USB ports making it perfect to increase performance in Desktop and Laptop PC's. Note: Single or Dual Display output requires downloading and installation of the latest drivers from the DisplayLink website. For 2560x1440 output the attached monitor must natively support 2560x1440 via HDMI/Displayport input (most 2560x1600 monitors don't support 2560x1440).
This USB C Dock features an audio jack compatible for mic or mic-less headphones, speakers, IOS, Android smartphone and so much more.
It connects to any standard Type A or C USB Connector being fully backward-compatible and future-proof! Compatible devices includes Chromebook Pixel, Samsung Notebook 9, Dell XPS series and more!
Supports Windows 10/8/7/Vista/ XP, Mac OS X 10.13 to 10.6 (Intel based Apple computers only).
NOTE: Apple has continued support for video over USB in the latest Mac OS X 10.14 update. This dock will work with Mac OS X 10.6 to 10.13.6 + 10.14.3 (NOTE: Macbook pro 2018 models may not work properly - SEE IMPORTANT NOTES SECTION!)
Note: Latest Mac OS X 10.14.4 updates are available. MacBook 2018 models (Intel Coffee Lake chipset) running macOS 10.14 can experience black extended display(s) with only mouse cursor. For macOS 10.14 onwards, v5.x or later software should be used (restores multiple extended display support, without needing AirPlay).
