CARSYS Coating Thickness Gauge DPM-816 Extended Range Precision Probe Fe/NFe Paint Meter for Car & Industrial Apply (Black)
Availability: Pre-Order, Inquiry Price
Description
The device DPM-816 is used to measure thickness of various non-metallic coatings (paint, primer etc) over metallic base (steel, iron, alloys, aluminum etc).
An example of case for use would be to measure paint layer thickness of car body panels.
The device has 5 exclusive modes and has a wide range of uses:
Auto:
Fast&Easy mode, automatically determines the measurement method. Perfect for simple checking the car body. No additional settings required.
Manufacturing:
Automatically determines the measurement method. Higher resolution for thick coatings. Great for factories, paint shops and workshops.
Program:
Automatically determines the measurement method. Used for custom calibration at 6 points. For special cases when the default calibration is not suitable. Advanced mode.
Fe - Magnetic induction method:
Created for the most accurate measurement of non-magnetic coatings (paint, polymer coatings, powder coatings, electroplating) on magnetic metals (steel, iron). Has the function of continuous measurement. * Manual selection of measurement method
nFe - Eddy current method:
Created specifically for the most accurate measurement of dielectric coatings (paint, powder paint, polymer, plastic) on non-magnetic (non-ferrous) metals (aluminum, zinc, copper). Has the function of continuous measurement. * Manual selection of measurement method.
- Measurement range: 0-99 mil (max 137 mil)
- Resolution: 0.01-0.1-0.5-1.0 mil.
- Accuracy (0-28 mil): ± 1% + 0.04 mil.
